Mikaël Kerboas Self-educated painter. Born in 1961, in France. Mikaël Kerboas lives and works in a beautiful Provençal house, on the French Riviera. The artist observes scenes all around him, captures movements using a digital camera, then reconstitutes the pictures on his canvas. “Your brain shapes the pictures. I always wonder how the world is really like? Nobody has the same perception of it for the sensitivity of each of us is different. It’s strange to think about. In fact, I live more in my painting than in the real world. I try to recreate what I saw after I have closed my eyes.”
